"But Mr. Wesker, sir, it just wiped out half of the R and D staff, along with 75 percent of our security at that facility. It's far too dangerous to release onto the city until we have more control!"
"Precisely. Besides, what's the loss of a few scientists when we now have our ultimate weapon to finally rid us of that pest, Alice."
Third and final entry. Had a blast with all three and actually learned a lot not only about the character, but anatomy and creating dynamic scenes as well.
Now I'm going to have to see the movie and get the game so I can see if my interpretations were correct. Best of luck to all in the contest and I'll see you when it's all done.
su-weeet dude-I will be very surprised if you dont win this thing. Im just hoping to place in the semi-finals! Id love to see you work man, any pointers ?
Thank you Dan. Although I'll be surprised if I place in this thing. Lol. Pointers? I'm sure you've heard them all before, study this and study that, practice practice practice, which really is important. But my biggest breakthrough came when I figured out that if you think too hard when you're drawing, your work will suffer. The faster I draw and paint, the better it usually comes out. Working from a large shape then working your way down to the smaller ones helps to ensure a clean composition and fluidity throughout the piece. Mostly what it boils down to is that when you've got some music playing, and all you see is the paper/screen, the next thing you know, 8 hours have gone by, and you've been so engrossed in your work that you didn't even notice. When you find you've reached that point Dan, you'll be well on your way.
Thanks dave-all advice is very helpful-and yes ive heard a lot! but you are correct and ive done that on this piece fo sho! I think you stand a strong chance at placing honestly. Myself id be happy to land the semis! either way these contests are a good way to hone my chops! Good luck to ya!
This is awesome!
