Slug Dragon by Davesrightmind Slug Dragon by Davesrightmind
Another sketch for the DSG. Happy with the fact that it only took about three hours on one layer. Beware the lord of the slugs! (Couldn't be the lord of the dragons, they just wouldn't take him seriously) ;)

I'm positive the slug dragon could take any respectable dragon in a fight and successfully cover it with enough sticky slime to render it defenseless! At least, that's what normal slugs do to me when I try to remove them from my plants. Love how sticky and slimy this little guy looks!

Thank you Michelle. A standard dragon versus Sluggy here would be a good one.

AWESOME!

Wings seem somehow out of place, but it's too awesome a concept for that to matter.

Reminds me of the film Slugs (silly creature feature where slugs with mouths like that, complete with little teeth, attack)!

Hah! Yah, those wings are a bit off aren't they? I remember that movie. Good old fashioned overdone bloodbath. :)

This is awesome. You beautifully captured that fleshy, slimy look and feel of a slug, masterfully given the form of a dragon.

Or use a big bowl filled with beer, they normally drown in it... but maybe better to drink all those gallons of beer before fighting it ?!? :D

Actually Amontron, I try to do my best to not use the smudge tool except for some of the tiny details. I like the Oil Pastels in Painter for their thick pasty paint application. Glad you like it and thank you!
