The Real Cookie Monster by Davesrightmind The Real Cookie Monster by Davesrightmind
Hiding in your cabinets
Waiting to strike
The cookie monster lurks
He knows what he likes

When the chips are down
In the batter that is
This little blue beast
Lets out a hiss

He springs from the cupboard
When the cookies are done
Then he eats them all up
Not even leaving me one

I love this picture one of my favorite parts is how there's no fur on the tip of his/her tail

the last part sounds like a metaphor for a small child in my opinion

Reminds me of a mix of Blanka (Street Fighter) and The Grinch.

In reality Cookie Monster Isn't a cute and cuddly monster. He's a crazed greedy lunatic.

While he looks psychotic, he doesn't look outright evil, which is pretty cool

Sweet rhyme for an even sweeter creature! HEY, THAT'S MY COOKIE! -fights for cookies-
*creature vs sugar-holic. Ten minutes later-
Creature: Owowow...
Me: -too busy eating to gloat-

Excellent job, my good friend! I'd certainly be very freaked out to find this guy in my kitchen. My favorite part of this is the effect you achieved with the crisp cookies against the blurred kitchen background; excellent depth! Also like the monster's eyes, that stinger (a nice contrast of dangerous-looking harness against the softness of the rest of the critter), and the characterization and expression you achieved with just the woman's shoe and ankle.

Thanks dude. I think it's okay. I do love playing with that depth though and I am happy with the eyes for once. The end of his tail is the result of many hours spent chewing off the fur while waiting for cookies. Great comments! Love it when you stop by man. Did you get the 50% scholarship?

Thanks Cloister. Had some trouble with the lighting on this one and no matter how many times I tweaked just couldn't seem to get it right. Anytime you want to pass on your secrets to bad-ass lighting I'll be waiting with open ears. ;)

I doubt that there is anything I can say to improve your skills, but if I find anything I promise to Note you about it.

heh heh, this is awesome. reminds me a tad of some of the old sesame street storybooks.I think my one crit is that the body of cookie monster looks too dark, which isn't a problem in itself, but it makes him blend into the background a little too much. Maybe he just needs a stronger highlight on the very far edge of the face & body?

After looking at so long while I was working on it, I come back to it and see that you're exactly right. See what I can do about getting a fixed version up here as soon as possible. Thanks buddy.:)

No, chamoflage is one of nature's weapons to hide the predator from detection and prey so it has a fighting chance of avoiding detection.
